I feel like there are a lot of sauna hats on the market, but honestly, I never thought I would want one. I don’t think I need the functionality and I haven’t found a hat with a design that suits my taste.
This hat was created by sauna enthusiast and doublet designer Masayuki Ino, KIJIMA TAKAYUKI and leading hat company MIDWEST.
The embroidery appears to have burned off, and according to Mr. Ino, “I was in the hot sauna for so long that my hat caught fire. It looks like it burned off! I think that’s what happened.”
The material is a blend of Kuura®, a cellulose fibre sourced from sustainably harvested forests in Finland, and recycled polyester.
“It’s like being in the forests of Finland, the sauna mecca,” Mr. Eno said. I’m not sure what he meant, but he sounded very confident.
In addition, the use of highly effective thermal insulation material Thinsulate in the padding allows you to enter the sauna gradually, which facilitates the process of recovery. If such a cover appears in the sauna, it will be very unpleasant.
But the point is that it is balanced enough to be worn even in the city. It is a product that can stimulate the appetite in all respects.
