Bottas, 33, prepared for Sunday’s race by sitting in a sauna naked except for a reindeer hat.
The Alfa Romeo driver shared a video on Instagram in which he set the temperature to 100 degrees Celsius and poured water on the coals.
The Finnish star also wrote: “Some call it a warm-up workout, but for others it’s just a daily ritual.”
Bottas has enjoyed a new lease of life since moving from Mercedes to Alfa Romeo earlier this year.

“I just couldn’t understand and accept the fact that in these two years I couldn’t beat Lewis.
I put too much pressure on myself. Towards the end of 2018, especially when I started playing a support role on the team, it really became too much of a burden for me and it became really hard for me. It’s really uncomfortable.
“The last four or five races of 2018 have been more painful because you are supposed to enjoy Formula 1, it’s very cool, but it wasn’t like that.
