The Georgia-based supplier will unveil a new look this week at the ASI Show in Chicago in preparation for its 20th anniversary in 2024.
This week at the ASI Show in Chicago, the La Grange, Ga.-based supplier unveiled a rebranding that includes a colorful new logo, its first mascot and a new tagline. The move comes as the company reaches a major milestone in its longevity.
Miles Wadsworth, President of Logo Mats, said, “With our 20th anniversary approaching in 2024, we believe now is the perfect time to refresh the brand and expand our reach through marketing.”
The new Logo Mats logo features the colorful lizard Lenny, who is now the company’s official mascot.
The full logo features the name “Logo Mats” in a flowing, multi-colored font, and the centerpiece is the new mascot, Lenny, a friendly-looking cartoon-style lizard in blue, purple, orange and yellow.
The company’s tagline is “Be Different, Stand Out,” and executives said the logo’s bold colors reflect that theme. Logo Mats executives spent months developing the brand’s concept and identity.
“We’ve been providing quality products and services for 20 years,” Wadsworth said, noting that Logo Mats has a top five-star rating from ESP, ASI’s technology solution that includes a searchable database of products from across the advertising industry. “We needed to refresh our branding and marketing. The advertising industry is all about fun and color, which helps businesses of all types stand out. Our new logo really brings that idea to life.”
According to Wadsworth, new design is also a form of communication, meaning that a creatively designed and professionally manufactured mat can effectively attract the attention of the target audience of the end customer. Logo Mats offers a wide range of floor mats, including for outdoor, indoor and point of sale use.
To promote the new brand, Logo Mats placed the brand’s logo on promotional items including polo shirts, PopSockets, socks and branded pins.
“While rugs are not always thought of as a traditional promotional product, they are an important tool that distributors use to build their clients’ brands,” Wadsworth said.
To support the launch of the brand, Logo Mats will feature the new logo on a range of promotional items, including polo shirts, socks, notepads and PopSockets. Branded pins in the shape of Lenny are also available. The brand will be featured on ASI Chicago banners and other media.
“We’re still the same reliable supplier we’ve always been, but now things are more colorful and exciting,” Wadsworth said. “Logo Mats is proud to have been in the promotional products business for 20 years, and we’re excited to continue doing so for another 20 years and beyond.”
