I’ve always been a fan of handbags. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always collected and dreamed of all sorts of cool bags for everyday life and travel. However, it wasn’t until a few years ago that I purchased my first handbag organizer – and honestly, it’s really made my life easier to organize and keep things tidy while I’m on the go.
Bag organizers come in a variety of styles, making it easy to find one that fits any size bag. You can also find bag organizers that can be removed and used as a stand-alone bag, as well as organizers that can be placed inside bags of different sizes. I personally like the latter option because it allows you to quickly and easily change bags.

Made from a stretchy wool blend, this organizer will add texture to a bulky tote or will look equally great with a more structured handbag. There are 13 pockets and compartments, making it easy to organize your belongings, and the flexible material can be easily removed from one bag and placed in another.
This organizer wallet comes in a variety of stylish colors, from basic beige and black to luxurious bright red and forest green. The soft wool blend also allows it to be used on more expensive bags without worrying about it scratching or damaging the lining of your wallet.
The only thing you need to consider is that this handbag organizer is considerably heavier than other options on this list. While the wool blend looks luxurious and soft on your bag, it will definitely add weight to your wallet.
You might not think you need a small bag organizer, but designating places for your items is equally useful for small and large bags. The Vercord Canvas Tote Organizer makes it easy to find a special place for your smartphone, lipstick, and other items you typically throw in a small bag. Before you rush out and order the first bag organizer you see that you think will fit, carefully measure the inside dimensions of your bag. Most importantly, leave some wiggle room when measuring to ensure that your organizer is the right size. Choose organizers that are at least a quarter inch smaller than the inside dimensions of your bag.
Before you buy a purse organizer, consider what items you carry with you most often. If you tend to travel light, you may not need an organizer with lots of pockets and cubbies. If you carry large items, like water bottles or books, be sure to choose organizers with pockets that are the right size so you don’t have to stuff things into pockets that are too small.
The great thing about a bag organizer is that it gives each item in your bag a place. This means you won’t have to dig around for little things that get lost in the depths of your bag because you’ll always know exactly where everything is (and nothing will get stuck underneath something else).
You can definitely use one bag to store multiple bags – this is a really great solution for those who change bags often. However, if you plan to do this, make sure you choose an organizer that will fit in each bag. You can also choose a storage bag with a drawstring that can be adjusted to suit the size of the bag.
