Alex knows the stroller is “definitely a good investment,” but she does a lot of walking, so she thinks it’s worth the money. “It’s really easy to push,” she said, “and it converts into a daybed, so I know we’ll need it in the future.”
This adorable baby carrier was a gift from Ree! Ree gave Paige and Alex a similar one when they were little, so Sophia had to have one too.
Babies and dirty diapers go hand in hand, but that doesn’t mean your nursery has to smell like dirty diapers. This diaper pail effectively traps odors while keeping the pail smelling fresh. (Alex was especially happy with her diaper pail purchase because she got it on sale!)
Alex was very impressed with the diaper bag and all of its “great features.” It definitely came in handy for Sophia during her first rodeo!
“This is definitely the best $20 I’ve ever spent,” Alex said. “Trust me, you need it.” She loves the soft light and adjustable brightness for nighttime feedings and diaper changes. They’ve even taken him to the hospital.

This little gadget from Hatch is the “only sound machine” Alex and Mauricio have ever used—and they love it! It’s small, surprisingly loud, and easy to carry around.
As any new mom knows, you can never have too many burp cloths, and they’re super soft and gentle on baby’s skin. “We have tons of them scattered around the house to catch spit-ups or accidental spills,” says Alex.
While Alex and Mauricio love snuggling with Sofia, they say the lounge chair is an “absolute must.” It’s where Sofia can get comfortable while their arms rest!
This is Alex’s favorite way to go hands-free! This adorable bandage was part of Sophia’s “everyday uniform” when she was little. Perfect for newborns up to 25 pounds.
Alex says this nursing pillow is super easy to use, whether you’re breastfeeding or bottle feeding. “You really underestimate how awkward your arm is,” she said. “This makes everything so much easier.”
It’s a baby product that Ree (who has raised four children herself) is “blown away” by. It’s a stroller and car seat in one! “If you travel a lot, like with a baby, I think it’s a must-have,” Alex explains.
