Q: Do the panels come in larger sizes?
A:The acoustic range panels only come in one size, 2400mm x 600mm. However, we have designed them to join both width ways and long ways seamlessly, allowing any length or width to be easily achieved.Q:How are the acoustic panels installed?
A:To obtain a class A sound absorption, then we strongly recommend installing the acoustic wood panels with batons. Though, if you would like to have them solely for decorative purposes while still providing some sound absorption, we recommend screwing the panels directly into the wall through the acoustic felt backing using black or grey screws.
Q: Can the panels be used in a bathroom or kitchen?
A:Yes, the panels will have no issues in these areas as long as they are not in direct contact with water.
Q:Can the acoustic panel range be used outdoors?
A: It is designed for indoor use only. However, we will be launching our outdoor panel range in late 2023.
Q:Can I install the acoustic panels around plug sockets, windows etc?
A:Yes, there is no issue adjusting the panels to fit around any pre-existing fitting. You can cut the panels width ways, and the acoustic felt length ways with a sharp blade. They can then be applied around any item you may have on your surface.
Q:On which surfaces can the acoustic panels be installed?
A: The acoustic panel range can be easily installed on any flat surface including brick, concrete and plasterboard walls.
Q:How consistent is the wood finish across panels?
A: Our wood is always from the same source, so the finish will always look more or less the same. Being natural wood, however, knots, slight cracks and color variations can occur.
Q:What can be installed behind the acoustic panels to increase sound insulation?
First, install the panels using batons, then apply mineral wool or other any sound insulation material in-between the gaps; this will significantly increase the sound absorption.
